Family
All of the Fredericks children inherited a deep appreciation of music, theatre and fine arts. Music was central
to their lives. They grew up in a home that cherished sounds from around the globe including Caribbean, African,
Latin, Cuban, gospel, and jazz. From the Fredericks' home in Springfield, Massachusetts sprang musicians, singers,
actors, producers and painters.

Edward Fredericks - In 1983 Edward established Samuel's Gallery, a premiere art gallery in the San Francisco-Bay Area, specializing

Connie Fredericks-Malone - A former actress and vocal performer, Ms. Fredericks-Malone is an experienced arts manager and public
relations professional who serves as manager/spokesperson for CDF Music Legacy. In conjunction with Master Teacher Nancy Gadbois,
she presents workshops about Carole's life in France, the French language program Tant Qu'Elle Chante, Elle Vit! and innovative
methodologies available to foreign language educators K-12 at conferences nationwide.

Aya de Leon - Slam Poet Queen: Aya recently performed Cellulite from her critically acclaimed solo show, Thieves in the Temple:
the Reclaiming of Hip Hop on HBO's Def Poetry Jam. Thieves... earned Aya an artist residency at New York Theatre Workshop and a spot
on tour with the Hip Hop Theater All Stars. In August 2004, she kicked off her Mess With Texas tour with the show Aya de Leon is
Running for President. The show is sponsored by Gemini Ink and funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. Aya de Leon is Running

Rahsaan Fredericks - Musician/Producer: Rahsaan has performed, toured and recorded with many artists of different styles including
Sherry Brown, Giovani Hidalgo, Darrell Diaz (Devotion), Ashanti, Guillermo Cespedes and Lazaro Galaraga, Micky Hart and Vince
Wellnick of the Greatful Dead. He has also produced songs for artists Sherry Brown, Bobi Cespedes to name a few. Rahsaan is
